Ronald C. Korfmacher memoir, 1960.

A brief (43 page) account of some of the author's experience as a pastor in Rhame (N.D.). The booklet also contains the author's comments about life and inhabitants of western North Dakota, viewed by someone who came to the region with no background or understanding of West River ethos. Author tries for a balance between compliment and detraction, and generally accomplishes this. Some fine descriptions of the geographical features of the West River country, particularly the Rhame area, are included. Written for Governor William L. Guy by Reverend Korfmander while serving in a western North Dakota parish.
